They can be trimmed to create 6" x 6" or 8-1/2" x 11" sheets depending on the size of your scrapbook needs.
The adhesive used on the self-adhesive die-cuts is initially repositionable (for about an hour), and the bond becomes permanent after 24 hours; however, repositioning the die-cuts requires some delicacy.
