Shimmer paint is pigment ink, so you can do almost anything with it that you can do with ink—you can stamp with it, cover an entire section of card stock or paper with it, or apply it over a stamped image or Rub-On. It works on a variety of surfaces: paper, fabric, wood (such as our Texture Cuts wood sheets), leather, and more. To stamp with shimmer paint, apply a thin layer of paint to the stamp using a sponge dauber or stamping sponge and then stamp as usual (don’t overload the dauber or the paint will seep into the recessed areas of the stamp). Because Champagne Mist and Frost White are translucent, images you stamp with them will be very light. Images stamped with Platinum shimmer paint will be more dramatic. Shimmer paint dries quickly; you don’t need to heat set it on paper or most materials. You can use shimmer paint on natural fiber fabrics, such as cotton, wool, silk, etc., but you must heat set it to make it permanent. To heat set the paint, iron the fabric with the iron set at the appropriate temperature for the fabric. Once the paint is heat set, the shimmer paint will not wash off or smear. Features & Benefits •Pigment ink with a touch of shimmer •Available in 3 colors: Champagne Mist, Frost White, and Platinum •Champagne Mist and Frost White are translucent—wash them over your project and you’ll get a delicate layer of shine that’s more understated than glitter •Platinum is opaque—it will cover your surface completely, so you’ll want to use it as an accent color instead of using it to cover your project •You can do almost anything with it that you can do with ink—you can stamp with it, cover an entire section of card stock or paper with it, or apply it over a stamped image or Rub-On •Apply it with a sponge or sponge dauber directly to a stamp or paper •5 oz. each •Nontoxic

This past weekend I had a "booth" at the Gold Hill Founders Day. It was a fun day despite the rainy weather. That didn't seem to keep the visitors away. Lots of demonstrations, gold mining, wood carving, music, food and a civil war re-enactment. We did have to pack up the tent a little early when the rain and wind picked up a little in the afternoon. You know wet and paper don't mix very well. Which was a bummer. I thought I would share with you some of the products I still have on hand.
This is a set of 4 note cards. It is for purchase complete with envelopes.
You may purchase these 4 cards complete with envelopes foronly $12 or I would be happy to help you order the supplies needed to make your own. Contact me today to order these cards or supplies.

Wow! the days are passing so quickly. It seems I have so many projects going and I'm starting to fall behind. That is NOT good when the Holiday season hasn't really even started yet. Yikes! I think I better start organizing my organization. But let me assure you that my brain is working over time. I'm having to write all these wonderful ideas down because I can't remember them. Yeah, by brain is actually swirling. It's that time of year that I love.
Cooler weather, lots of craft ideas, getting ready for gift giving (and you can bet it will be HANDMADE this year) and the list goes on and on. Can you feel the excitement? I love FALL. So I will stop jabbering and show you one of the projects I've been working on. This is a GREAT gift idea. Made with the DecorElements Together Forever Circle Frame #114112 and Classic Upper Case Alphabet "T" #114102.
I used a 13 x 13 frame with a white mat. I adhered the Decor Elements to the glass on the front of the frame. The Decor Elements are vinyl art that provide you with novel ways to create stylish projects for your individual taste. I wanted a way to show this beautiful product and of coarse I cannot take a wall with me. A friend of mine (also a demonstrator, Allison Barber) gave me this idea. This also makes a perfect gift for the upcoming season.
If you would like to make one of these, contact me. I would be happy to give you more information. I wish you could see it in person because the picture in no way does it justice. It is gorgeous! Thanks for stopping by today.

Today I would like to share some projects I made with the Big Shot and Fancy Favor Die. This is the easiest little favor box to cut out and assemble. It is one piece of paper, you fold on the creases made by the die as you cut it out, add a few pieces of Red Line Tape and viola la! it done. So easy and so cute. They are going to be the ideal treat for all the upcoming holidays. The Fancy Favor Box with the handle has a Wide Oval Punch "window" in the front with a Window Sheet so that you can see what is inside.

I know that my regular customers have not received your Holiday Mini Catalog yet. There was a problem with the mailing house and Stampin'Up! is aware and working on it to prevent further problems. I wanted to make sure that you see the catalog front and center. If you need one before yours arrives, CONTACT ME. I have ordered some extra and will be happy to get you one. You can also view it HERE.
Today I would like to show you what you can do with the embossing folders and the BIG SHOT. This is one of the cards we made last week in my Big Shot Class.
As you can see, we used the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #115964 on the Dusty Durango card stock #115321. We also used it on the So Saffron card stock #105118 before cutting it out with the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die #114507. This adds a lot of "wow" to the butterflies. Just that little bit of texture is incredible. Then a little bit of Crystal Effects #101055 and a dash of Stampin' Chunky Sprinkles #111343 to the center of the butterfly just set it off. It's just the little things that make a card. We topped it off with a bit of 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Dusty Durango #115609 for a finishing touch. This was one of 4 projects we did for the class. It was so much fun. If you would like more details on how to get your BIG SHOT and make this quick card CONTACT ME.
