Cool it down

June 24 030Boy it’s hot outside.  I thought today that I would cool things off with a little boating. This card was made with the Pennant Parade (c-122742; w-122740). I used Daffodil Delight card stock (119683) as the base.  Then  I used Night of Navy (100867) and Bashful Blue (105120). The Designer Series Paper comes from the Brights Collection (117155). I tore it in half to make the little “white caps”. I punched the Night of Navy with the 1-3/4”Circle punch ((119850) and cut it in half. The sails are stamped with Daffodil Delight (126944) and Night of Navy (126970) using the argyle type stamp from the Pennant Parade stamp set. I also stamped the Happy Birthday from the Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370) on Whisper White (100730) and punched it out with the Word Window punch (119857).

If you need measurements to make this card I used as follows – Daffodil  Delight  cut at 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” and fold in half. The Night of Navy is cut at 3-3/4” x 5”. The Bashful Blue is cut at 3-1/2 x 5-1/4”. The Night of Navy DSP is cut at 3-3-3/8” x 5-1/4” and torn in half.
