I hear a lot of talk about how hard it is to come up with ideas for Masculine cards. Lovely as a Tree is a must have set. It's versatile and simple cards look like you spent hours making.
Let's make this card.
Stamp sets: Lovely as a Tree (w-115026; c-127793); Teeny Tiny Wishes w-115370; c-127802)
Card stock: Crumb Cake (120953); Very Vanilla (101650); Always Artichoke (105119); Early Espresso Core'dinations (127848)
Ink: Always Artichoke (126972); Stampin' Write Marker Early Espresso (119680)
Accessories: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine (113439); Woodgrain Embossing Folder (127812); Stampin' Sanding System (129367); Curly label punch (119851)
Cut your Crumb Cake at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and fold in half. Cut the Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock at 4" x 5-1/4". Run this piece thru the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. Nest you wnat to take the Stampin' Sanding block and rub over the raised edges made by the Woodgrain folder. This will give you the rustic look. The Core'dinations paper has a lighter color core unlike the regualr Stampin'Up! card stock. so this brings out the lighter color when you sand. Nest cut the Always Artichoke at 2-1/2" x 4-1/4". Cut the Very Vanilla at 2-1/4" x 4". Stamp the tree on the Very Vanilla in Always Artichoke. Take the Stampin' Write marker and fill in the tree trunk and a few of the branches. Layer the Very Vanilla onto the Always Artichoke card stock. Stamp the Happy Birthday onto a scrap of Crumb Cake and then puch it out with the Curly Label punch. Attach this underneath the Always Artichoke. Now you wnat to attach the layers together. Early Espresso Core'dinations to the Crumb Cake then the stamped image layers to the Early Espresso Core'dinations. Have fun and get creative. If you need help please don't hesitate to contact me.
